Shaun Firth and Trevor Morris, both Most Promising Engineer of the Year Award winners, have been nominated for 2010 Gemini Awards.
Two Most Promising Engineer of the Year Award winners have been nominated for 2010 Gemini Awards. Trevor Morris, Engineer of the Year 1988-89 is up for Best Original Music Score for a Program or Series for "The Tudors." Trevor owns a studio in LA and has worked recently on shows like "Pillars of the Earth" and "The Bridge." Shaun Firth, Most Promising Engineer 1990-1991 is nominated for Best Sound in an Information/Documentary Program or Series for his work as re-recording mixer on the documentary series "Empire of the Word." He is a re-recording mixer, engineer and sound editor working at Spence-Thomas audio post in Toronto. It's likely in an industry so dominated by Music Industry Arts grads that there are many more of us nominated. |
